| Recognizing the need to help ex-soldiers to access re-employment opportunities has led to the creation of a unique service focussed on career advice and employment counselling. |

Coupled with the allocation of training grants, this enables eligible personnel to make a lasting career change from military service to civilian employment.
All ex-members are eligible for career counselling and advice from the professionally qualified Vocational Services Manager, who will also administer applications for financial aid. The latter is confined to Full Time Home Service soldiers discharged after 1 August 2005 only.
