please take away that logo and put back the original logo of the udr/rir(hs) cap badge that many of us fought and died under and was so proud to wear. the cap badge should take up post in front of the aftercare service heading. not at the end.its just insulting to me and many others I'd presume. After all this service was set up for the aftercare of the udr/rir(hs)

Sorry “gazz2479” to hear that you do not approve of the new lapel pin badge that we have designed and produced in order to advertise the good work that the Aftercare Service does. We are currently receiving a lot of positive feedback on this and will continue to promote it as any voluntary donations received for the badges will contribute to the relevant benevolent funds. I feel that there has been some misunderstanding in that this badge is not a replacement for the UDR / Royal Irish (HS) cap badge.

After getting Medically Discharged on my 22nd year as a Senior Rank, with both Epilepsy and Arthritus etc, I,am getting excellent help and support from both the Western Teams, and also the Medical Manager in the main office in which I appriciate a lot. It was good to see Paul Smith`s name pop up on site, as I have not seen in a considerable number of years. Kind Regards. W.Donnell.

We did try, and you must agree that some help is better than no help at all
